This not only masks the flavor of the fish but also represents a cheap way for the restaurant to reduce the amount of fish they serve. Additionally, the batter becomes soggy, further diminishing the experience. The salmon avocado roll was mostly avocado, with only tiny pieces of salmon—definitely not what I expected. Overall, everything felt low-quality despite the high prices. My order of 18 pieces came to $30, which is quite shocking. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this place. Also, the free miso soup was terrible. It’s disheartening to see people still patronizing establishments that serve such poor-quality food, allowing them to avoid making improvements.
This restaurant used to be a great spot to visit, especially before the pandemic. Since COVID, they’ve switched to only offering delivery, which is understandable. However, it’s now 2022 and nearly every other restaurant has reopened for dining. I'm not sure why they haven't made the change, but I've noticed similar sentiments in other reviews indicating that the quality has declined. Their prices were much better before the pandemic, and it’s disheartening to see this decline, especially since it used to be a favorite place for me and my friends.
I used to really enjoy visiting this restaurant, but the quality has declined significantly since the pandemic. It's quite disappointing that they now serve very small portions of fish and other key ingredients in their rolls—it's almost negligible. Given the high prices, it's not worth it for what you receive. The only thing that used to make this place appealing was the all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner option, but that hasn't returned, despite other restaurants reopening. I recommend driving 20 minutes to some better sushi spots downtown, like Hanabi and Gokusen.
We have often eaten and taken out, and we? ve had the same problem every time with takeout. The problem is the lack of Wasabi. We always ask for extra, as it always eats at least 2 of us, and we order more than 1 roll. They either never give us more than the one small heir size quantity in a container that comes with any meal, regardless of how many reels you order, or they appear when we ask for extra. We always tap well, regardless of service and now we are fed, and find this very bad customer service. You lost our business.
Always great food and quickly ready to be picked up for takeout. My only critique is that it would be nice to be able to order the food on the website. Only location you can do that is the downtown location.
