Greektown Taverna - Ormond Beach

I wanted to take a picture before I started eating, but the food looked so good that I totally forgot. All we have was so good. I got the filled chicken and my husband got the lamb, both were very well cooked and tasty. The desserts were also very good. The service was very friendly and fast, the resturant is very clean and well furnished. It was a great date night I would recommend to anyone who loves Greek food.

Love great and unique food and Greektown Taverna not disappointed! Today I tried some of their specials and WOW!!! I had a cup of the absolutely best New England Clam Chowder ever... Not too thick, not too loose, literally just perfect. Next was their Gyro Pita Pizza (pictured here) w/ Gyro meat slices, Mozzarella, Arugula, Feta Cheese, Pickled Red Onion and topped with a srumptious figure drizzle... I pray this makes it their regular menu!!! I never eat desert at noon, but simply could not resist Lemon Custard w/Filo (Galaktoboureka) and it was to die! The staff and the atmosphere are with the amazing quality meal they prepare.... together, less than $25... incredible.

This was our first culinary experience in the Greektown Taverna last night. My husband and I had the Gyro dinner. The gyro was delicate and tasteful. Hands down the best gyro we? ve had in a long time. I chose the peas and rice pilaf. My husband had the peas and Greek potatoes. The peas had a wonderful Greek season and the Greek potatoes were golden brown and tasty. The server was fantastic! We will definitely come back even if it is 40 miles away from home.

The first time! Girlfriend had her Octopus appetizer that she LOVED! I had the porkchops delicious!!

Awesome Greek food and awesome service. We tried the Saganaki, Dolmades with Horiatiki salad and Lamb gyros. Everything was cooked perfectly and the taste was authentic. If you like Greek food and are in Ormond Beach, you have to try the food at Greektown Taverna, you will not be disappointed
