Harvest - Oro Valley

Didn't get in! We were one of the first people there (just Mum I). But they chose to sit 2 big parties of about 12 people each, first. Apparently, they did not make reservations. The hostess was kind of rude wasn't really interested in seating us. Thanks for the rudeness as we went to the Italian place next door had a marvelous meal!

We have been to this establishment quite a few times over the years. The food is good most of the time, just the consistency is not there, I've had perfectly cooked burgers here and over cooked burgers here. I like the gluten-free buns they offer. They are better than most restaurants in town imo. The short rib sandwich is great, just some of the times I get a good-sized meat portion and, at other times, just a few strings of meat on the sandwich. On this occasion, the service was dragging and slow, but the staff is not to blame they just seemed understaffed. My advice is to go when the place is not busy.

Terrific food. I had a maple burger (patty, bacon,egg,cheese with the up grade of sweet potato fries. Very good although there was no need for the egg since you couldn’t taste it. The waitperson sent back my bun to be toasted more and they actually did it. Companions had short rib entree, short rib sandwich, and lemony pasta. All were great. I tasted the regular herbed fries, more wedges than fries. They were a better choice than the sweet potato ones. Less grease per surface area. We ended with the (molton? chocolate cake with ice cream. Wonderful and plenty for four people. Yes I’d come back and have the short rib sandwich even though I’m not much of a red meat eater. It was that good.

As a health coach author of Toxic America; How To Survive And Thrive In Toxin Modern World i find it hard to finding good health food restaurants i can eat. But this place was extremely excellent on there grass-fed burgers ? and there Gluten-free bun as well as their corn free ketchup. I will definitely be returning to try more of their food. I give this place a 4 thumbs up ? ?
