It was accompanied by several sauces and pommes frites. It was very tasty and fun, besides. We do not speak French, so there was a language barrier that wasn't too hard to overcome with Google Translate. Despite this difficulty and the large number of guests, the servers were very friendly. This is a great little small town restaurant with wonderful food.
We where there before and the meat was ok but not special, so we asked the owner if he could give us tenderloin for an upprice and he did. we payd 10 euro more but had the best beef of our lifetime.
We took a visiting family with children aged 12 and 8 to enjoy a Fondue Bacchus beef cooked in broth. The quantity was generous we were offered extra helpings of both meat and the best chips (French fries I 've had in a long while. Friendly, 'can do ' staff with prompt service although the restaurant was full. We sat outside outside the restaurant but there was no disturbance from wind or traffic a cul de sac. The broth is served as a soup at the end of the fondue tasty and delicious, and easily digested. We enjoyed a good range of desserts and drank an excellent Zusslin Pinot Gris. The children found cooking their own dinner great fun and the bill was very reasonable! We look forward to our next visit here! (For more of the same!!!
This small family run restuarant in a tiny village was just perfect. We arrived at 12 and no-one else was there, we sat down and within 20 mins the entire place inside and out was full with locals. Proper home cooked food, the Plat du Jour for only 10 euros was excellent value for money, a hidden gem worth seeking out!
Super Fondues, viandes très tendres et bons accompagnements. l' accueil agréable, nous y reviendrons.
