Really well-kept menu, special dishes and all very delicious raw materials on top. in particular raviol with filling of meat and mozzarella foam more broth made at the exceptional time as well as the second of meat. small advice would make portions more abundant than the first and second, they are so good that remains the desire and if possible I would accelerate the recommended service even with the children there is beautiful garden
My first time: I ate out, I prepared a coffee table in the garden, beautiful sunny but ventilated day! Menu 40 euro without drinks or coffee! 92 euro without discount euro or coffee offered! I ate well I can not say the opposite, a little too long perhaps in my opinion, having a child that does not allow me to stay quiet at table. nice quiet location there is a nice green space, parking inside! very kind girls always with smile! I do not give the maximum score because on 92 euro at least 2 euro could remove them or offer coffee!
The restaurant has a special concept. There is only one prix fixe menu at a very fair price (32 euros without beverages) that provides you with plenty of food, in our case salumi and a tomato dish, followed by risotto with funghi porcini and a pasta with ragout followed by osso buco and a port filet. After that, a pre-dessert and your choice of a homemade dessert and small chocolate desserts with your coffee. The wine cellar is very good with many Piemontese top wines. All of the dishes were well prepared and the restaurant works like a clock. The fact that the restaurant doesn 't offer you any choices (besides a menu for vegetarians) and the food is served at record speed is part of the concept that most people seem to like but some may say Isn 't it nice to have choices? . I guess, I 'm one of them...
We had a lovely dinner for 2 at this restaurant last Friday. Every item on the menu is incredibly tempting and it was hard to choose so we went with the 10 Course Tasting Menu and were not disappointed. The chef's creations are playful and delicious. The ingredients are all locally grown and your tastebuds will definitely feel it. They also make great pizza if you're looking for a simple lunch or dinner. Wine aficionados will appreciate the extensive wine list. The staff was very courteous. The place itself is surrounded by greenery. A wonderful experience overall and this place alone makes a trip to Orta San Giulio worth it. There is a B&B of the same name located just next door, making it all that much easier to enjoy a bottle of wine at dinner and walk across the lawn to go to bed.
Great, interesting menu all locally sourced or from own farm. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgable staff. I would even say this is best restaurant service I have experienced and a lot of top restaurants could learn a thing or two on how it should be done! Extensive wine list with good recommendations and possibility to taste. Stayed in hotel spa next door which is also highly recommended.
