At first glance one wouldnt feel that excited as the location is a stone throw from the autostrada, but it was the perfect stop for us three girls and a baby with a hunger for authentic italian while driving for hours to reach our final destination. The food was exactly what we had hoped for! Perfectly cooked pasta followed by the perfect Italian coffee. Humble place, kind service and just real.

This place is very popular among truck drivers and a few people we know mentioned it specifically for its carbonara. We were around that day and our curiosity took over. We ordered one carbonara pasta and one norcina (each €8). We loved both and, indeed, their carbonara was really delicious and much better than the one we tried in a fancy restaurant a day before. The only thing is that, unfortunately, it wasn’t al dente. Service was friendly and nice, dining room simple, as expected. My only suggestion (if I may say) glasses definitely need to be upgraded, they all were so scratched and overused shameful.
