Sammareier Hof - Ortenburg

Since approx. April 2017 there is a new tenant in Sammareier Hof, i.e. the previous reviews are not relevant. Have been at lunch on Sundays. Very clear recommendation! I really have to say that so good and lush I had not eaten so often. I ordered a grill steak. What I got were 3 juicy barbeque steaks with herbal butter, whose cooking point was perfectly hit. The high quality of the meat, no fat deposits and no flaxes were noticeable. As a supplement there were homemade pommes and a fresh, crisp mixed salad, which was very good and spicy. For this dish I paid about 11€ without drinks, which I find more than right considering the huge portion. Atmosphere in the guest room is actually quite cozy, even though something rustic and not completely furnished to my taste.
