Tutti Piatti Bellissimo, e stato ditto abbastanza !! Book in advance it gets busy, incredible value and quality. The “ vino rosso di casa” is very moorish you won’t be let down here.

My husband is from this area and Mamma Rosa has been our favorite restaurant for years. Everytime we visit family we come to this place. We love it so much that the last time we were here we ordered pizza and ate in our car (due to the pandemic. Since we were back in the area we were very excited to come to our spot and actually get to eat inside. We have enjoyed countless dates and get togethers with friends throughout the years here and it is a place quite special for us. Although we were a bit disappointed to see a brown hair in our antipasto, we ignored it and said nothing. Upon eating my pizza there was another brown hair under the crust. This being the second time, we politely informed the waitress who offered to fix it by bringing out a fresh pizza. A few minutes later the owner came out and rudely threw another pizza in front of me and said sorry in a very sarcastic and condescending way. My husband infromed him (in Italian that this was the second hair we found tonight. Annoyed, he exclamied, in an insulting way, that it is a blonde hair and did not belong to anyone else. I, indeed, have very blonde hair and assure you this was a dark hair. He insisted that it was my hair and refused to be sincere in an apology or take any responsibility. He tried to shame and embarrass us instead of just apologizing and moving on. He felt the need to make a point and a scene. My husband and I decided to leave immediately after and left the pizza and the unexcusable and horrible treatment behind. We are easy going people. We flat out ignored the first hair and respectfully let the waitress know about the second. A new pizza was more than enough to satisfy us. Instead, to be rudely accused, by the owner, of planting my own hair at the bottom of the pizza plate... for what?? Half of a free pizza? Owner-Sir, my written Italian is not very good so this is why my review is in English. I, a faithful customer, do not care what the problem was. I care how you deal with it. Giving me a new pizza and saying sorry was more than enough to keep me as a customer for life. I 'm reasonable, I understand that this can and does occure however, because you tried to blame this on me when clearly, it was a brown hair, not once, but twice.... Well, your pride and unfair treatment cost you two customers who will in return, tell their friends and anyone who will listen about the way you chose to react. Even if you thought it was a blonde hair... You could have just given me the pizza and continued to receive our business. Although we appreciate the fact you did not charge us for the pizza, your rude and accusing manor is why we will never come back nor recommend you to others. Next time, I suggest you swallow your pride and resolve the problem rather than insult your guests.

This is by far the most popular pizzeria in the area for miles. It’s always buzzing at weekends and holidays and you must book if you want a table outside in Summer. Popular with locals and tourists from home and away. Neapolitan style pizza. A bit soggy for some people’s tastes but ever so popular in Italy. We always visit here and take our friends when they come to stay.

This is on a bucket list for a lot of people, so it was good to go in January. It opens at 7:30, but service may take a while longer. The pizzas are thicker with more gooey cheese than many other local places. They also have pizzas 'off the menu ', which I would highly recommend asking about (these change with the season, so km0 stuff). The service was fine and efficient, rather than friendly. The price was very reasonable for the high quality of food.

Pizza stile napoletano dal sapore unico. La pizza con le olive all’ascolana era una cosa unica, mai provata una pizza piú buona! Ingredienti freschi e molto saporiti. I diavoletti con la loro salsa erano proprio sfiziosi e le patatine fritte con la buccia fantasticamente croccanti. Esperienza da rifare assolutamente, grazie anche alla gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff. Nonostante il posto sia molto grande abbiamo aspettato pochissimo per assaggiare tutte queste bontá
