The George Bar Restaurant - Orton

I had a wonderful dining experience on a Friday night after a hectic week. We enjoyed our meal in the lovely beer garden, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding; the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even though it was quite busy. We can't wait to return!

We just returned from a two-night stay at The George, and we can't express how sad we were to leave! The staff were wonderful, and the local atmosphere was charming. The food was exceptional — the Lakeland burger was simply amazing! Our room was more than adequate; it was spacious and cozy, making it feel like a home away from home in no time. The village is beautiful and very family-friendly. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

I booked in a group of 24 ! of us when we came for a holiday at the nearby Fawcett Mill Fields. Throughout booking and ordering everyone was really helpful, and when we arrived we were all impressed with how quickly and accurately we were served. The food was lovely especially the cheesecake! and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
