Feedback geven10 minutes walk from the train station kujo near osaka dome. a sweet café in the third floor, which periodically doubles (4000yen.) as a jazz bar with live performances until midnight, so one of the few vegetarian options late in the night. the charalat was wonderful and would probably be what I would order as a main dish if I ever were in this opposite. the veggie burger was only 1000yen in consideration of the dinner set. what might prevent me from coming back is the terrible slow service. a meal that needed me to prepare in the regular five minutes at home needed a 45 minute wait. the next table had an equally strange experience as the place was mostly empty. the suspected part of me wonders if it would be that we would order more drinks. a bit warning for women who travel alone is that they go through a big red light district from the subway. there is no attempt to hide which services are offered, as women are displayed in their uniforms above all behind the open doors
I had vegetarian Cous Cous with Ratatouille and soy fried chicken. Just fantastic!! The place opens until midnight... Only place in Osaka to be opened that late for a vegetarians... Bit far from the station, you might want to get a cab and tell the driver the address.
I had a great experience at this jazz café. The waitress, who I believe was the owner, was lovely, and the food came out quickly. I ordered the herb salad with soy meat chicken and a glass of shochu, both of which were delicious. I would recommend trying anything on the menu. It's important to note that when we visited around 9pm on a Friday, the place was empty. However, if you prefer a busy atmosphere, this may not be the best time to visit.
We were initially led astray by Google maps, but once we finally arrived at the restaurant, we enjoyed the charming retro decor and had a relaxing time. The freshly prepared food was delightful, the groovy 70s-style jazz music added to the atmosphere, and it was a great way to unwind after a full day of sightseeing.
During our visit to Osaka, we stayed near Kujo station and decided to have dinner there. The experience was delightful: with a Japanese-only menu, we arranged for a set course meal with our host. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including salads, pickles, and hot dishes that were all delicious. The red wine complimented the food well, and the cozy space with wood decor and comfortable armchairs added to the experience. We highly recommend this restaurant. In response to a previous review mentioning the red light district, we want to note that we also saw storefronts that may have been involved in the sex trade in the area. However, we did not feel threatened, even when I was alone, during our several-day stay. We also observed a couple with a stroller on our evening walk to the restaurant. The restaurant is conveniently located on the Chuo line.
