The Osborne Park Hotel

I have been a frequent customer at this restaurant for years, mainly because of its convenient location. The recent renovations gave it a much-needed facelift, but it still feels like it's missing something.

Do not be deceived by the old brick building next to it with a rickety sign that says "Osborne Park Hotel". This is the original hotel and it highlights...

I ordered the Asian seared beef salad, but what I received was a plate filled with low-quality beef scraps, a large portion of inexpensive noodles, three measly lettuce leaves, and a small portion.

Don't be fooled or confused by an old brick building next door that sports a rickety sign saying 'Osborne Park Hotel'.

Have eaten here spasmodically over the years - ordered a Pulled Pork roll with beer battered chips for lunch today - the serve was generous and tasted ok.It was served on a flat wooden paddle which made it awkward to eat with a knife and fork - I would prefer a normal dinner plate - saves food sliding off when eating.The price was a bit steep for a lunch special. I think there are cheaper specials each day perhaps in the evening - I will return in the future to check out.
