Terrible experience at this restaurant. The woman ahead of me was checking to make sure her chicken was fresh because she had received dry, unpleasant chicken here before. When it was my turn, I simply wanted an order of 8 pieces of chicken—no sides, just the chicken. However, I was told I should have called ahead to place my order, as they couldn't accommodate me at the moment, even though they had just filled the chicken racks with more chicken. This was during dinner time (5:30 PM), so there’s no excuse for not being able to fulfill orders. The bottom line is that this place is poorly managed, leading to a frustrating experience. My advice? Grab some snacks and wait until you're in a better area like Des Moines—it’s not far away, and the wait will definitely be worth it.

This place never seems to have chicken pot pies. My wife went through the drive-thru, and when they informed her that they were out of pot pies, she decided to cancel the entire order, which would have cost over $30. Perhaps management should consider ordering more, as this is the third time I've visited this location and they've been unavailable.

I visited the restaurant at 6:30 PM on a Sunday to pick up takeout, only to find out that they had NO chicken available—neither fried chicken nor chicken strips. It’s tough to feed a family of six without a bucket of chicken! We weren't the only ones leaving empty-handed. To their credit, they explained that a family had ordered two 16-piece buckets and a 12-piece bucket of strips, and they were still waiting for their order, which had been placed over 30 minutes earlier.

The staff here has to be the most incompetent in the area. Sad that management is so poor that they can?t effectively train their employees. The place is filthy , so I?d advise to get take out vs. dining in. They only carry very limited quantities ofcertain items each day so it?s like a first come first served place to eat. I don?t know about you, but if I?m going to go outsomewhere and buy dinner, I?d like to buy what I want not just what you decide to have available that day. Giving this place a 1star is definitely being over generous

Mom is in a wheelchair and the doors are heavy and hard to maneuver. She got the chicken pot pie. Hot and Delish. I got a chicken sandwich. Plain and boring. Fries were good.
