Billie Jax Grill & Bar - Oshawa

Wanted to try after the reviews we read. Arrived and no greeting for 10 minutes, lots of staff standing around and the hostess running. At this point at least 5 couples waiting and now they were confused who was next, not a good start. Finally seated and had a very pleasant waitress, ordered drinks and they arrived promptly. She did not rush us for our order as my wife was not ready. We decided on wings, nachos and a chicken sandwich. Nachos very good, wings were a good size and tasty as was the chicken sandwich. All in all I do not believe the food was any better than most grill and bars nut the waitress was very good.We will try again.

Second visit to this restaurant the menu has lots of options from pub fare to steak or pasta. On a whole the food is very good with decent service. They have a large selection of beer on tap along with an assortment of craft beers. The wine list is not to bad either at a decent price. One thing to keep in mind the restaurant can get pretty noisy if your looking for a subdued atmosphere this is not the place for you

Great food! The Billie Jax burger and the cheese cake is the best in town. The place looks great and the beer selection is good, Price are good, best restaurant in Whitby hands down.

My family and I went to Billie Jax recently. We thought we'd try something new and this restaurant is close to where we live. We expected pub fare and indeed that was available, but they have a varied menu with lots of choices. My wife and I are eating paleo these days and were able to modify our meal easily to match our needs. We passed on the fries etc, and asked for extra vegetables. The vegetable medley was generous and also a very nice mix of veggies. It was also a substantial serving and tasty. My son decided to enjoy the fries, and a more traditional pub meal. We all enjoyed our food. The service was great, the atmosphere a bit loud but pleasant. Lots of TV's showing all kinds of sports programming. This is a new restaurant in Whitby and well worth a visit. I know we will be back!

A modern but cozy setting..the bar has this warm dim lighting.just perfect for chilling with friends or for couples._The food and service were awesome
