This is the reason we dined twice in La Bergamasca during our 4 day stay in the neighbourhood. The cheff and the rest of the staff don’t speak english, but nonetheless figure out a way to explain the menu and make you familiar with local recipees. Furthermore, don’t be surprised if the cheff offers you some free food, just so you would be able to know how “real italian food should taste like”. Tip: if you like sweet desserts, definitely try the ricotta-vanilla cake heaven! . Greatings from Belgium.
Rustic but cute local make you feel at home the local dishes very good excellent pizza, fine ice craft beer, excellent compliance with the regulations anti covid good.
We went there without a registration but still got a table despite this. The menu is only available in italian and also the staff doesnt speak english but don't be put off by that. The chef does speak a little english and he was very helpful in translating the dishes. We even received a small pizza as a gift which was the most delicious one we ever had. We would definitely come again !
Had a pleasant dinner with friends. The food was outstanding. We had the 6 lune (pizzas), which we didn't choose, but came out of the oven with surprise topping. It would be a great choice if you wish to try many different kinds of pizzas at once. The staff is very friendly. Overall, this restaurant is highly recommended to those wishing to enjoy local delicacies and fresh home-made food.
I had lunch in this restaurant several times in the last few months. a good quality of the dishes, especially the first. very often in the work menu you have the possibility to get the fresh pasta; a dish to their good risottos and cooked to perfection, detail that you can not always appreciate in the work menus. second in the norm and red wine drinkable. Although the price of 14 euros can be higher than the average of the area, there is how the quality is paid. very comfortable the fact of being able to know the work lunch menu in advance as published every day on their page. service fast enough and courtesy from the owner; to improve perhaps just a little more courtesy from some waitress. a smile sometimes doesn't ruin. the club has its age and although clean and clean, it would need a little rest. I never tasted pizza. looking at the list, prices definitely above the average; but friends told me that it is very good and made with quality products. Since pizza is also available at à la carte lunch, it might be a good idea to create a pizza working menu as it happens now in many locals
