I’ve been to curry and ketchup a few times before and have always had a great experience. I went today with my family and was so impressed with the customer service from Indra, our waiter! He made sure that our dietary requirements were catered for, and was so friendly. The food was excellent as always. I left my glasses there when we left and Indra came out of the restaurant in the rain to make sure I got my glasses back. Very impressed and I will definitely return when I visit Norway again.
This is an Oslo institution, and deservedly so. The restaurant has a lot of charm, and the food was served hot and delicious. I had the Chicken Curry and my husband had Chicken Curry with sauce. Mine was served a bit tandori style which was perfect. My husband eat every last drop of the sauce with the garlic naan.
Omg…. This was former my favorite place in Oslo for Indian food, they must have changed ownership. After waiting for a table for 25 min, with free tables that weren’t cleaned, they took our drinks order 20 min after we were seated. 60 min in and still no food... and then the fire alarm went off and they didn’t care or inform us or anything. Foodora is taking all the capacity of the kitchen, they should close the restaurant and just be a takeaway place! I saw one couple that had ordered when we waited in line getting food a good 30 min after ordering and another must have waited for 45. No service, food just ok, no soul… They just don’t care and live of the good reputation of the old place.
I had a terrible dining experience at this restaurant. The waitress was not fluent in either English or Norwegian. I do not recommend trying the "Thai" food here. This restaurant, which used to have decent Indian food at a reasonable price, has gone downhill.
