Homan Bistro - Oslo

I love this place. The staff is very friendly and I always have a great service. It is super relaxed and casual so you can come to dinner after a hike, but you can dress up here to celebrate. The menu options are good, and I have always enjoyed the food. Your sweet potato fries with Chili Mayo are delicious! The selection of beer, in particular alcohol-free beer, is one of the better in Oslo. What I love best is that your dog is welcome to sit with you in the outdoor sitting area! The outdoor seating places are usually my choice, but I hope one day the Norwegian smoking laws will also prohibit smoking in the restaurant outdoors seating areas. I've been back countless times confirming how great Homan is. I finally tried her fish chips and *wow*. The cripples in the broken crust is a miracle. It feels like we come home to good friends, we are always so comfortable here.

We visited one of the first Wednesday Quiz nights on 27.12.2017! It was a lot of fun we want Takk to Erik for a great host who translates the questions for us from Norwegian in English!!! Go there on Wed it is worth it!!! Also good beer food!:

Cosy place with a large outdoor area that also works in winter time. Burgers were much better than I expected.

Not the biggest foods, but the burger is decent for Oslo standards and they have a nice selection of beer. You can also sit outside all year round.

One of the few places in all of Bogstadveien shopping street that offer an outdoor seating area with sunshine from 4pm to 6pm during the summer months. And their burgers are ok :
