The Lake Village Bakery - Osoyoos

Genuinely one of the best bakeries in the Okanagan! Put it this way, we've made the trip from Kelowna just to enjoy their treats in the past. If you're in the Osoyoos/South Okanagan area, you have to pay them a visit. You will not regret it! Aside from the great bread and sweets (the butter tarts are a MUST), the owners Meagan Bibby and Ian Young also have a commitment to locally sourced, ethical products and materials, which I think is great. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

The line was long but that was because that many people wanted the bread and sweets! So good! Service was great! A must do when in Osoyoos

Ohhhh this bakery smells wonderful. Most of the breads are vegan. Wish they had a few more vegan treats, but had more than I was expecting. They also carry some vegan cheeses in their cold case. We were only up in the area for a few days so didn’t get a chance to try out the bread or cheese (the next stop was hrs away with no kitchen. I really wanted try them). We did get a few cookies, and rye crackers. So good. They are located near the lake, so you are have your treats by the water.

I arrived in the morning, starving. Initially was not expecting so many vegan options but they had a pretty wide and delicious selection. Ended up getting the mushroom/potato croissant, peach croissant, mocha muffin, chocolate chip cookie and a whole tomato pesto focaccia for later. Most of their offerings are plant based, some gf too. Everything was delicious, the staff very friendly, covid safety measures were great definitely coming back. Go early if you can or pre order as they start running out fast.
