Britannia Inn - Oswaldtwistle

The Britannia is a wonderful place for dining and takeout. My partner and I are thrilled that we decided to give it a try. The food is outstanding; we enjoyed a quiet table in a cozy corner near the kitchen, where the staff was friendly and attentive, and our meals arrived quickly and perfectly cooked. While it is a bit pricier than typical pub fare, the quality and presentation truly set it apart. We will definitely return—this was our third visit, and it just keeps getting better. The last time we visited, in 2021, when pubs reopened for dining, the Britannia had a limited menu, but the service and quality were still top-notch. I'm so glad we went back, as it was even better this time. They also welcome dogs inside, which is a nice touch. Overall, I highly recommend The Britannia for its fantastic service and delightful atmosphere. We appreciate all the hard work of the staff there—10/10!

The first time we have been in new management since the reopening. it is really welcoming and comfortable in the inner. good choice at the bar. the service we have received was excellent. that was delicious. the only thing to stop a 5-star rating was one of our mealtimes came cold. but that was addressed by the great team quickly and politely. thanks for a nice time

We have been here before and have never had a bad meal, but unfortunately, today was different. My Bark in Ale Pie wasn't as good as it was on previous visits. That said, the staff made every effort to be helpful and were very apologetic. I will certainly return and hope they maintain their excellent customer service.

We had tea last night with our daughter and it was wonderful. The homemade cakes are absolutely fabulous! The staff was very friendly and great with our 4-year-old. They even have a children's menu. It's a really cozy place, and we will definitely be going back!

I meet my Sis here as it’s between where we live. Last time we sat outside on the balcony and this time inside. What a fab pub this is !! The decor is lovely and the staff looked after us so well. The food was really nice and great prices too. They had a guy playing guitar songs too !! It’s our regular meet up now with more family gatherings in the pipeline. Thanks to all the staff and owner for a top class pub.
