Sherry’s Downtown Diner - Oswego

Not impressed. No attention to detail. Food not hot. Owner and wait staff sit around talking. Uncomfortable venue with a gossip factor. Desserts not made in-house. Served cold.

Had a great breakfast here today. The home fries were amazing and my husband said they have very good French toast.

Food was cold, coffee tasted like colored water, but the waitress was nice she wasn't sitting still. It wasn't overly busy, but nice location and comfortable

So the cinnamon pancakes are really the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Food was phenomenal and would earn them a 5, however the customer service was a bit tenuous. Me and my guest felt the fact we were the only African Americans in the restaurant and the staff definitely made us acknowledge that with there service. We still tipped but I feel like I should’ve just paid for the food.

Very disappointed in a family style restaurant. Service was not the greatest- and we were one of two tables present. The French Dip- I didn't even touch it. The meat looked dried out, no cheese, the bun was not toasted. Paid $11 for it and it sat there. I paid for gravy on the French fries- so thin that it did not leave flavor on the fry. Mac and cheese had zero flavor. For home cooking- I could have done better at home. It was definitely not worth $60 for a family outing. Also, drinks come in bottles, leaving no refills. Will not go back.
