Bā Tián Shòu Sī - Otaru

The sushi omakase that we got was delicious and very well priced. The couple that owns and works the sushi shop are very nice and extremely cute. We don't speak very much Japanese and they don't speak very much English, but were able to communicate somehow (also, thank god for Google Translate and the little translation devices that Japanese people have on them).

Friendly chef and wife! They were really welcoming, and friendly. On top of that, the sashimi was so good, and fresh.?!!!! The crab soup was delicious too! Would definitely come back again

Supper friendly owner couple, really great experience and delicious food! We went there in the last week of July, did not know how to use the coin parking machine next to the restaurant, the owner lady helped us to pay the parking as a present. Thank you so much!

Must book ahead as counter has only 8 seats but 2nd floor has 2 tables. Set nigiri is popular served individually at counter but fast. Good quality for price around Y4500. Many locals n tourists. Friendly service n english ok.

This place is a small sushi restaurant. There are only 8 seats. Better come early to get the spot. Not sure about what time they open for lunch, but for dinner they open from 5pm 8pm. We had Omakase, 12 chef’s selection of sushi, sashimi and more. The fish are very fresh, also Botan Ebi, which is Soooo Good! The crab soup is superb! Very, very nice. By the way, don’t forget to try Otaru beer to complete the meal. Highly recommended!
