The cabbage rolls caught my eye but they ran out of sauce and the older lady said her sister needed 30 mins to make more (very good sign! . Being hungry I could wait, so picked what caught my eye which was a Schnitzel on bun paired with potato salad, pineapple citrus cake and large Americano. Everything was fresh home made and the Schnitzel on bun for 9 dollars was the highlight! This great bistro I think operated by two older sisters sisters deserves more visits for wholesome good food at very reasonable prices.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option was noted
A hidden gem on Elgin street. Good size portions, great prices, and incredibly tasty. Asked for the owner's recommendation and was not disappointed.
Best zapiekanka on this side of the Atlantic! Stopped in for breakfast and had a zapiekanka that reminded me of Poland. Perfectly toasted, just the right amount of crisp but still soft inside. Had a lovely chat with the owner, very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or even just a coffee.Vegetarian options: Menu has both vegetarian and vegan options
Excellent place. If you go here, get the Norwegian Salmon sandwich, it's perfect. Maybe a Creme Brulee Latte as well.Great prices, great food, great staff.1 star off Atmosphere because their fake brick wallpaper is upside down xD
Food: it’s a cafe that serves light meal such as sandwiches, soup, cake and sweets. pretty good for its price on Elgin.Atmosphere: It’s a Café. Pretty peaceful and quiet.Service: Nothing dispicable, pretty standard place.Time: ‘bout as fast as any cafe would be.
