Swiss Chalet - Ottawa

This is the second time I've tried their roast beef dinner. The first time I tried it it was sliced roast beef this time when I had it, it tasted like it was microwaved roast beef that was pre-made and not sliced off the roast. I was quite disappointed with that point. But the mashed potatoes are hot and fresh the vegetables are perfect the waitress was fantastic it's just that they need to go back to the roast beef but they had. You can see from their ad the real roast beef I had last time, and this was my microwaved meat today.

Had a lunch with my big sister. We don't get out together much so this was perfect, many choices. Oh and I had a Shirley Temple, always wanted to know what kids see in this drink. It's very nice, refreshingThis was around 1300 hrs. not too busy

Horrible!! The restaurant is dingy, cold and outdated. The service was unbelievably slow and barely civil, the chicken was good but everything else was barely passable. We will never return.

There were a lot of negative comments from a year and two years ago. We still picked this location for a lunch with kids. Everything went very well. Service might have been a tad slow but it was not bad. We got all our food as ordered. Prices for eating out have increased considerably across all business and across the country, so no use complaining about that. All in all, it's Swiss Chalet, it's what we expected and this location is good as any of them (and very big too). There is parking outside and they accept cash and cards. Kid friendly.

Their chicken foods were good. We tried several different food here. Everything was ordinary, no complain but not excellent. When we arrived, we were a group of 12 and we did not felt welcoming because it was an hour to close time of the store. the receptionist were not eager to accept us. I believe one hour was enough time for dining in.
