The breakfast is said to be "famous," but you should know that the famous home fries are really over-salted, and scrambled eggs are browned and so dry you almost need to drink something to get them down. The over medium eggs are ok if you want over easy. Over medium doesn't seem to exist. However, the place is convenient to the Travelodge, and the Chicken Walnut Salad is delicious.

You gotta love a breakfast joint that offers up a handful of creative eggs benedict offerings. From the usual to bacon cheeseburger- whodathunk? The place gets packed on the weekend so be prepared for a wait but it is worth it. Service on Saturday was fast and efficient and the coffee was good. The usual egg and meat choices but you could make any combo a la carte. Everyone polished off their plates so I took that as a good sign. Would recommend this for a breakfast spot if you find yourself in Barrhaven and looking for some eats.

Affordable big breakfasts. Great coffee, good waffles. Lots of seating but still a very busy place. The "Take #1", #2 and #3 are very good, large platter breakfasts. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food. Can't wait to return.

Went in for breakfast earlier this week with my wife and child. Decided to sit on the patio as it was about a 15 min wait for a seat inside. Took about 5 mins for the server to come see us and another 5 mins to get our coffee. A few mins later he took our order and we waited....and waited....and waited for our food. Finally after 50 mins went to the hostess stand to ask to speak to a manager as its been almost an hour to get our food. She apologizes and goes to check on things. Mind you, other tables have been sat on the patio, one table almost 20 mins after us and they got their food before us. Finally, 5 mins after that our food arrives. My food is cold and i send it back and ask our server again to speak to a manager as its been close to an hour to get our food. He comes back out with my food, tells us that our food has been taken care of and hands me a gift certificate and says that the manager is really busy and can't come out to see us. What sort of manager is too busy to come speak to clients when there is an issue? Very bad experience. Will not go back to this location as it seems they don't care that clients have issues with their establishment.

I googled for a restaurant close to where I was staying, and because I've been involved with theatre for several years, including London, England and NYC; Broadway Bar & Grill jumped out at me. The quality and quantity of the food was superior, and though I said to myself, I would take some home for my son, a chef in Montreal to try & duplicate, I couldn't stop eating the antojitos - A blend of chicken, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, Broadway Dip and diced jalapeno peppers rolled up in a flour tortilla and oven-baked. Served with chipotle sauce.
