The restaurant is now called ByWard Café! I struggled to locate "Café 55" and it took me a while to realize that I had finally found it.

The greatest attribute of this cafe is its location. Situated right in the heart of the market, you can enjoy sitting by the windows and people-watching.

The female staff at the restaurant were rude, unhelpful when asked about cake options, and the $7 chocolate cake was of poor quality.

Got two lattes and two breakfast sandwiches. Very good! Would go back again. Not sure what else to say about this place.

This is a very busy place especially on the weekend, the food is excellent. Please take the public transit as parking can be a challenge at times.
