Gabriel Pizza - Ottawa

I had dinner at Gabriel's Pizza, the girl who waited my table was very attentive and food was really good. I had a beef wrap with fries and enjoyed big time! Also try the iced tea that's really good.

This restaurant serves the worst Eggs Benedict in town. They charge $15.50 and clearly have no idea how to cook poached eggs. There is absolutely no pride in their food preparation. The eggs were a disaster, tasting strongly of vinegar and were carelessly thrown onto the plate. I sincerely wonder if the cook would even eat what they serve. When I brought up the issue, the waitress mentioned that others have also complained about the vinegar flavor, stating that it is necessary for cooking the eggs.

We ordered a pizza and wings and waited for 3 hours, but our food never arrived. We called the restaurant twice at 5:30 and 8:00, but still no sign of our order. This will be our last visit.

The crust and sauce at this restaurant are incredibly tasty, with generous toppings. The bacon is not in strips, but still delicious. I highly recommend trying the Gabriel Deluxe with a Marinara dipping sauce - it's amazing. If you're in Ottawa and craving pizza, make sure to order from Gabriel's.

This used to be one of the best pizza places in Ottawa. Not anymore. You now get average pizza that is quite expensive and not available in different sizes. Try Big Rig at the Gloucester Centre for much better pizza.
