Industria Pizzeria + Bar - Ottawa

We went in this huge space, which definitely has an industrial mood to it, so the name. This is a place where you can get decent cocktails. Food is good, but not too much to expect. We ordered some drinks a few fries and chicken wings. I ordered "BourBerry" that had too much cinnamon in it. My friends seem to enjoy “Tropical Twist” and “Rosy Cheeks”. The whole mood of the place is great for some grams, but the slow music brought us to sleep for some reason.

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times. I attempted to make a reservation for a party of 8 to celebrate an 86th birthday, but it was denied. I was shocked that the manager would turn away 8 guaranteed customers. I will definitely not be returning to eat there again.

After eagerly anticipating dining out at restaurants again following the Covid19 closures, my wife and I started our evening with drinks. She ordered a Rossini cocktail while I opted for a glass of Valpolicella red. Although my wife enjoyed her drink and even ordered another one, our experience went downhill once our food arrived. She had the Chicken Parmigiana with penne in tomato sauce, but found the dish to be disappointing with dry chicken and lukewarm, unevenly boiled pasta. I also had issues with my order of Tagliatelle with wild mushrooms, arugula, Parmesan, and truffle oil, as I received Fettuccine in Alfredo sauce with grilled chicken. The pasta was lukewarm and stayed cold throughout the meal, and the grilled chicken was not served hot. When our server asked if I wanted another glass of wine, we were ready to leave. I mentioned the mix-up to the server, but they did not offer to address our concerns with the manager. Overall, our dining experience turned out to be a disappointment, and we do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

It has been a while since we last visited this restaurant, and we decided to use a gift voucher for drinks and dessert on the terrace. The food and drinks were delicious, but we were disappointed when they refused to accept our gift certificates, claiming they were invalid. We were certain that they were valid, as the credit card statement did not show Industria but 2675900 ONTARIO INC OTTAWA ON. Unfortunately, this experience has left us hesitant to return to the restaurant.

Visited during the very busy CIS Basketball weekend. Service was prompt and friendly in spite of the crowds. Had the very tasty tuna sliders.
