Lorenzo's Pizzeria - Ottawa

It's just a small, neighbourhood pizzeria, only enough seating for perhaps 24 people, but the owners take pride in the quality of the pizza, our server was delightful, helpful and had a great way about her!

Recently I ordered a pick up order from Lorenzo's Carling and was told that it would be ready in 30 minutes. Upon driving to the store & patiently waiting for my pick-up order, I was informed that my order had not been started. When I asked what was the reason for the still 20 minute delay for my order, his response was, "If you don't want to wait, get out"

I would not recommend anyone to order takeout or delivery from here. The man delivering is disgusting and rude.

I've been here a few times over the last year and the pizza is great! The eat-in-specials are a great deal and the food has always been tasty and well-made.

Apparently he ownership of Lorenzo's restaurant on Carling changed hands and slowly but slowly the service and quality has gone down too. I went into the restaurant which I mostly have is takeout but I found the quality of the cheese not the same, it seems more like molten plastic than the cheeses I have been used to for several years. We asked for coffee and the waitress gave us a big attitude with coffee doesnt pay the bills and alcohol does. I think they served four gentlemen in the bar a bit too much especially when we saw them shuffle to their cars and leave. I will have to I was loyal to Lorenzo so years but not anymore.
