Milestones Marche Way - Ottawa

We visited this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. The place is very nice, open, quiet, warm; a very pleasant and inviting atmosphere to enjoy a meal and a conversation. I ordered the sirloin with chimichurri with a side of Cali salad. The quality of the meat was very good, tender and juicy. However, the chimichurri was disappointing, not bad a bad sauce but simply not chimichurri more butter than anything else. Then, I ordered the dulce de leche cheese cake for dessert. The cheese cake was fine but I failed to find the dulce de leche, another disappointment. Not a bad restaurant but they should dedicate more time to research the original dishes of a country (in this case Argentina) before adding them to their menu. The service was good.

Not my waitress, but another one kept passing behind my chair and the table besides and kicking my chair on the way, it was really unprofessional and she just ignore it, no excuses nothing. Other than this, our waitress was present and following up with us as our main service took a bit longer to come out

We have experienced poor food quality the last couple of times here and will not be giving this establishment another dime. We reserved for a family Brunch (12 people). Our Server was very good. I cant say the same for the food orders. All were either served cold or eggs barely cooked. I cant understand how these meals even made it out of the kitchen. Our Server did his best to provide new plates but at this point the entire vibe was offset. We experienced the same issue the last time we booked this restaurant. We also made sure the manager was aware but that did not seem to make a difference. My honest opinion. There are far better restaurants in the area. Go elsewhere. We will not return.

Fine restaurant. I showed up without a reservation and at first I was disappointed they couldn’t take me in, but the staff and the manager were professional and patient. They offered me to come back later or make a reservation. Good food, good atmosphere, good service. I recommend.
