Nate's - Ottawa

If you are looking for succulent pulled pork that packs plenty of flavor within each bite then look no further! Nate’s Deli delivered one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve ever had! The bun was soft housing a good portion of tender pork meat dressed in a little bit of bbq sauce. I’m usually not a fan of pulled pork sandwiches because they usually end up slobbered in bbq sauce and that will cover up the taste of anything else! This time, the guys at Nate nailed it!

Positive experience. <br/ <br/ Lunch time service was fast and attentive. While place is better known for their smoked meat sandwiches, they do have on offer some decent alternatives. This was my second time having their California chicken salad. Admittedly this week I found the chicken to be less moist (insert: tad dry) and the fruit to be less plentiful. Overall, I enjoyed my salad and found it to be filling.

Ate classic poutine and breakfast poutine both very good. We got to Nate's for Sunday brunch and the patio was pretty full. There were 4 waitresses manning it and they were running behind customers were pretty angry, getting food with no cutlery, not getting food, getting food before drinks, etc... We were a table of two baby and we got served relatively quickly and our food was out about ten minutes later no complaints there from our end!

Great smoked meat sandwich and perfect fries. Looking forward to going back.As a resident of Sparks Street, very happy to have some good food on the street !!

I think a relatively hidden jewel. The fish and chips were excellent and the tartaric acid sauce is very delicious. I loved the onion rings and was very impressed by the steak. The staff is also super friendly! If you're in the area, I recommend going here.
