Twenty-five minutes later, no kebab. When it appeared, it was badly charred. Pages? Yes, please, make it tabouleh. Unbelievable that I delayed my order and apologized, Buddy wanted to charge me extra for a chopped parsley. Total customer service failure. The best part? Tonight, my wife and I are barfing. Since this was the only place we ate today, the perpetrator is obvious. Thanks, guys. I mean, really, thank you. Your kindness, excellent service and high quality are to be observed carefully. Sorry. I have to get up, happy new year.
Chicken Shawarma Platte was one when the best meals of our holiday!!! Flavorful, delicate chicken stacked on rice, pickled veg, salad, potatoes, yogurt and hummus. It was a mountain of food for $18.95. We shared between two people and were both full. Fun, friendly service. Try it!
I've been here for a while, and it really depends on what time of day you're gonna show up and what Shawarma Fleischskewer you're serving. My last visit was crispy and dry ( chicken). Service is always fast and friendly. You have to spend some more time cleaning the restaurant. Tables not deleted and doors / handles not often deleted.
Swiss Chalet had no decent beers and ribs, so we hopped up to SP and connected a short list for dinner. We chose the chicken-shawarma plate... about 1.5 kg of potatoes, rice, salad and grilled chicken from the Rotisserie. Not haute cuisine, but delicious,... fill and affordable. The portion size is immense... much for 3 people. The staff is smart and friendly enough, even the lady in the money. There are several locations around Ottawa in a very competitive Shawarma market.
I gave this restaurant 5 stars three years ago. Last night I gave it 3 stars. Their flavour is still good but the size of the shawarma sandwich was so small it was insulting. It was like eating a small hot dog. When we were...done, we were still very hungry. Cut backs or cost saving? Not sure.
