The Bistro - Ottawa

I went to this restaurant specifically for drinks while staying at the hotel, but decided to try the Ravioli one night due to its great price of only $12. I was very pleased with the dish. The server was charming and professional, despite being busy with a large group in the restaurant. She handled everything with grace. The wine was wonderful and the other menu options were delicious and reasonably priced.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Bistro in the Courtyard Marriott East in Ottawa, Ontario. Our server, Karishma, provided excellent service and made our meal very enjoyable. We started with drinks, including a local Kichesippi beer and a South-Facing cocktail. Both were delicious. We also tried the "body stickers" appetizer, which was tasty and worth ordering. For our main courses, my wife ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla and I had a Cobb salad. Both dishes were larger than expected and very tasty. The presentation of the food was impressive, showing that the kitchen cares about what they do. Our total bill came to $49.70, including tax. The dining room was spacious, with plenty of seating options. We were very happy with the consistent excellent service and will definitely be returning. The Bistro at the Courtyard East is part of the Marriott chain and we highly recommend it.

During my two-week stay at the Marriott Hotel for both business and leisure, I dined at the Bistro several times. The breakfast was enjoyable, with delicious bacon and eggs and a variety of muffins. The dinner menu offered a good selection at a reasonable price. The service from Nick and Yannick was exceptional - they were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our meals enjoyable. Even when we opted for take-out, they provided plates and utensils with a smile. Nick even remembered my toddler's preference for peeled apples and made sure to have one ready for us the following day without being asked. On the day of our departure, Nick even packed us a travel snack for our journey. Overall, the food was good, the prices were fair, and the service from Nick and Yannick was outstanding. Highly recommend dining at the Bistro at the Marriott Hotel.

I went to the bistro to get something fast before a meeting. Food restrictions meant that I could not have anything on the menu as it is. I asked the young man for replacement. He not only accepted my request, he offered some other options. He quickly prepared it with a smile all the time. Tom is a great employee and it's a great little bistro. Salad was delicious!

The 2 hotels are connected by a conference center so it is a bit of an adventure to go from the Hampton Inn to the restaurant. The food and service were just fine.
