The Loft Board Game Lounge - Ottawa

I had a fantastic experience dining with my family at this restaurant! The servers were very accommodating to our large group and the food was delicious, served quickly, and at a reasonable price. The variety of games to choose from was impressive and the atmosphere was ideal for playing board games. The old tavern feel with stone walls and exposed beams added to the fun and lively atmosphere. The staff, who were referred to as game wizards, were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting games for our group. Their recommendations were spot on and given with confidence. This restaurant is fantastic! The service is top-notch, the food is delicious, and there is a wide selection of awesome video and board games available. The game expert was extremely helpful. I brought a group of grade 7 and 8 students and they had a blast. It was a great value for three hours of fun.

This restaurant has a fantastic concept and atmosphere. I was initially unsure about the combination of video game controllers and food on a table, but everything was well organized and clean. The food was delicious, the beer and cocktails were enjoyable, and the overall vibe was great. While it is clearly catered towards a younger college crowd, it is definitely worth making a regular dining spot.

Took my husband on a surprise date here before going to a show at the Ottawa art gallery just up the street. The service was spot on. From start to finish the staff were professional and fun. We had each staff member check in throughout the Service (seems like they have a good TOTAL TEAM attitude there). Not once did we feel ignored or like we were waiting too long. From the beverage, appetizer, to main food, and finally desert it came out in perfect time so thank you to the kitchen. Plus sooo yummy. What a fun time and definitely would return and/or recommend to a friend.

Great place to hangout with friends. Food is delicious and served fast. The staff are nice and they would recommend board games to you based on your interest and also explain you the rules.
