The monastery cafe should be a beautiful conclusion of the visit of Koster Ottobeuren. The visit is definitely worth it. Imposing construction with many beautiful exhibition pieces. For us Northern countries this is a completely different church culture than at home. The museum is mainly characterized by pictures, but also objects of life from the wedding of the monastery life. In any case, you should return to the monastery cafe and let the visit end with a piece of cake/pie and a cup of coffee or tea. In good weather you can also sit in the monastery garden. we had to stay inside. The cake is delicious. The coffees too.
