Appanoose Rapids Downtown Ottumwa

We had a work event here and it was an amazing experience. they were very attentive and helpful and eating was really amazing downstairs! 10/10 would recommend. (make sure you try the lemon drop. it is fantastic)

I enjoyed an excellent old fashioned before a perfectly cooked filet, outside, on the patio. It was a real treat.

A lovely atmosphere, wonderful service and a quality of food that I did not expect. We started with the Shrimp Bisque and a salad. My husband had the Iowa Chop and I tried the Blue Fin Tuna. Both were beautifully done and some of the best dishes we've had.

Call for reservations or they might be full of you try to walk in and sit down. If they have room at the bar then they will serve you there. The service is wonderful. It's a must stop in ottumwa!

Very good meal! Not outrageously priced. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Having a meal with family while listening to jazz. A great evening. I will be back.
