Sonic Drive-in - Ottumwa

I just want to give a positive KUDOS to Sonic Drive-in and the manager of the Carla Spurgeon shop. Once a week, as a reward for preparation and school on time, Gary or I will take the children to get breakfast at a place of their choice in front of school. At the beginning of this week they chose Sonic. We ordered our food, got it and went to school. We almost always check the bag before we leave the lot, but we were in a hurry. I never had Sonic fighting my order wrong, so I didn't think about it since we were running on time. We get 1/2 way over the bridge... no breakfast Burrito for my son. Well, if we turned around at this point, we'd be after. So I gave him my breakfast, he ate it and was good with it. I ran back through Sonic after throwing them away and went in to correct the order (it was on the way back to work. Carla never questioned it. Carla not only gave me a burger (what I ordered, not what was missing from the order) She told me the next time Alec comes, all I have to do is mention it and she will give him a free breakfast Burrito. That's so different than almost any other experience I had with any fast food place. Every grocery company will have order errors at some point. It is however how they treat it when there is a problem. Carla never asked the delay before I came back to correct it. She never questioned the validity of my claim. She just went beyond and beyond to correct the situation and make sure I was satisfied with the result. Therefore, Sonic will always be one of my favorite fast food places in the city.

Buffalo Cicken and Butterfinger Shake. I can say I'm in heaven. Wasn't in a sound in over 10 years! Was delicious, hot, fast! Well done!
