Mouses Chocolates Coffee - Ouray

We visited this place after enjoying dinner at the rooftop bar of the Ouray brewery. I ordered a vanilla soft serve cone, and it was the best soft serve ice cream I've had in years—absolutely delightful! There was an impressive variety of other dessert options that looked amazing too. The shop was clean and well-maintained, which is crucial for serving soft serve ice cream. The staff was incredibly friendly and served me within five minutes of my arrival, even though we went during the busy hours of Labor Day weekend.

The staff was incredibly kind, but I was quite disappointed with the coffee. I ordered a basic iced latte, and it ended up tasting more like milk than coffee. We were eager to try their chocolates, but the staff were honest about the risk of cross-contamination, so we couldn't get anything due to a peanut allergy. I really appreciate their transparency!

Whenever we're in the area, we always make it a point to stop by this place. I'm obsessed with the scrap cookies — you absolutely have to try them! And don't miss the Mexican mocha; it's perfectly spicy!

Quick service, delicious ice cream, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff are friendly and efficient. I would definitely return!

We experienced poor service from a young man with dark hair today at 6 p.m. He didn't seem very enthusiastic about assisting customers, including us; in hindsight, we should have followed the lead of the couple behind us and turned around. On a positive note, the chocolates were fantastic! However, the double fudge shake was watery and lacking in flavor.
