Cova Iria Lda - Ourém

A must PRIOR to your visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima. Fill up those bellies prior to the big moment! Ask for the Picanha which goes along beautifully with a bottle of Ravasqueira (reserva de la familia 2020). Then ask for the “dessert of the house” paired with your favorite Oporto and or espresso to wrap things up!

This is a great family run restaurant!! Food was delicious and the service was good!! Sangria was some of the best I’ve ever had.

This Traditional Portuguese restaurant is located near the center of town, We stopped in shortly after they opened which was a good thing because the place quickly filled up. The restaurant is quite nice and our service was a bit slow but very friendly. I had the DOURADA GRELHADA (Sea Bream w/vegetables) and my wife tried the BACALHAU À BRÁS (A traditional Portuguese dish prepared with shredded, salted cod, onions, garlic, thin matchstick fried potatoes, and scrambled eggs, topped with black olives and sprinkled with parsley) Both meals were good, the desserts that followed were only average.

Já fui almoçar neste restaurante várias vezes ao longo de anos. Sempre bem servida pelas pessoas e excelentes pratos. Recomendo vivamente! É talvez o melhor restaurante de Fátima! Obrigada!
