Feedback gevenMy go to place in Mtl for an impeccable culinary experience. The atmosphere inside is absolutely perfect in its intimacy and lay-low music. Every single plate we received was phenomenal. Their dessert is always the perfect end to the meal!
Small restaurant with a busy atmosphere and with the music. We were 4 people. We shared the plates . Nice. Nice wine list. After the 3 starters, we waited too long....... to received the rest of the meal. They were all the time coming to our table to serve some wine and water ....,very annoying . The octopus was not the top,, a little bit too chewy , not crispy. Chorizo too cooked. Meat was good, very , mushrooms, rapinis, ok. Not the best price/value, but nevertheless, a good experience.
We went there celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were three in total. It is a tiny restaurant so bookings are essential. The lowdown is that there are no menus for food, only for drinks!! They just ask what you are allergic to or what you don’t eat and whether you want 5 or 7 courses, then sit back and relax and wait for the feast to begin! It was actually really nice not knowing what was coming. They use the provisions of the day to cook. Every day they change a dish as they change the menu every Tuesday but one dish at a time. Being vegetarian I enjoyed some wonderful vegetable dishes. Just super fresh and tasty and not drowned in rich sauces so you could really taste the freshness. My dinner companions enjoyed meat and seafood and loved every bite. The pasta dish was my Favourite. Two small pillow shaped pasta, homemade of course filled with spinach and ricotta with a butter sauce! Was so delicious and light. Dessert was as delicious as everything else we ate and we bought a round of shots for the staff at the end of our meal to say thanks. They create Incredible food in a tiny kitchen. Highly recommend a visit.
We flew into Montreal for a work weekend and had a recommendation from a friend for Provisions. There are lots of great places to eat in Montreal and this spot is no exception. The food was inspired, extremely unique and the service was excellent. The courses were presented beautifully and the wine list is exceptional. I highly suggest sitting at the bar by the kitchen so you can watch the chef at work! Also highly suggest going for the seven course meal! It is a wonderful experience, can’t wait to go back !
Amazing quality and different in many ways and ingredients first class.... unbelievable tasting aged rib eye steaks, full,of taste , grilled but like oven roasted at same time like rib roast taste....entrees of Ginger’s shrimp over fresh corn and olive oil, fried mixed seafood, or amazing beef marrow with clams...... incredible natural wine list,,, Desserts had two lol
