Both were very good with nice ambience (though with gauze curtains closed to clear view of ocean outside? and attentive service but not in your face service; with many 2 seater tables and comfortable swivel back seats. Monday to Friday they do 'Executive Menu ' changes daily for EUR12, includes bread/olives/balsamic oil, soup, main course, glass of wine and coffee; had cream of asparagus soup, octopus rice and local red wine. Very good value. Visited again on an evening ordered from menu, which has wide choice, 'tranche of sea bass with (large lima bean and prawn stew ', with mineral water and two glasses of white wine from south; Eur22. All good, in addition to wine list, and you can order by glass. Other reviewer not impressed, maybe bad luck, the main young waiter seemed to know his job well, and was inducting a newer waitress at evening meal. I arrived 19.45 as sole guest, but another 4+ tables/couples arrived after 20.00.
Real good food, nice atmosphere of the boutique hotel, real friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed a quiet dinner.
We had dinner. 3 courses and not one of them was OK. First course with clams and a lot of sand. Main dish with too much salt. Dessert with frozen lemon tart. Reaction: let's put it in the microwave again... High light: I asked for a wine recommendation and ordered the proposed red wine. 5 minutes back the waiter returns and asks if I want the red or the white wine of that wine yard... Positive: Service was friendly and gave their best.
