This was my first visit to Crushed Red, and the only downside is that there isn't a location near me! I had the shrimp crave bowl, and wow, Crushed Red is now my top choice for meals. I would gladly drive there with my family just to eat there again. You really need to try it! Oh, and I almost forgot the best part: you can donate meals simply by ordering food for yourself!
The salads are decent, but they definitely come with a hefty price tag. The shareable dishes are exorbitantly priced; they claim to serve 3-4 people, yet there's barely enough dip for just 2. Paying $60 for two people to enjoy salads, share one appetizer, and have two drinks (iced tea or soda) feels ridiculous. It's really not that impressive. The music appeared to cater to an older crowd, and the staff seemed quite unhappy.
I had an excellent experience with Crushed Red's catering service! I was let down by another caterer for a work lunch I was hosting, but Crushed Red stepped in and really delivered. Their food was even better than I expected! One of the doctors enjoyed the crust so much that he came back for seconds. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious! I definitely plan to use them again in the future. By the way, if you love margherita pizza, theirs is the best I've ever tasted!
The food was good, but the price is what killed it more me. $60 for two people is way too much for what we got. The portions were stingy for the price. An example is the shareable. We ordered the artichoke dip, and there was BARELY ANY DIP! $12 for something that should have been to share with a few people, but wasn't enough for just two people let alone 3+. I can't stress enough how overpriced this is, I only got two salads, a shareable, and 2 drinks and it was $60!!
What a good place to go to for quick healthy lunch. The service was quick and on top of taking care of people. I always get their Welcome Back Cobbler. Today I also tried their baked potato soup. I wasn't a fan of it because it seemed too watery. But definitely will be going back in the near future.
