Place was busy but the servers were doing a good job even though we were not any of the locals. Looks like they had pool tables on both sides of the bar pretty chill place.
Found it at like midnight had had a late night at work, took the crew in there. I had the southwest Philly cheese steak, it was delicious, one of the best I've had in a long while. We played pool while we waited on our orders about 25 min. Worth the wait, everyone enjoyed the food and pool.
Rated ?eh? for us. Food was either OK or not good. Nashville chicken sandwich looked and tasted like it came out of a Tyson frozen bag then thrown on a bun with a pickle slice. You won?t find any sauce or spice here. Best meal was simple chicken tenders. Anything that required more than that was below average. Staff was great, however. Understaffed like everywhere, but unlike most places, the staff effort was there.
Initial perceptions are that of a bar, in smell, in atmosphere, and in lighting and decor. However, the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was phenomenal, the Tank 7 was cold and crisp, and the bartenders were affable and engaging. I'm picky, but I'll be back. I really like the Fox Hound.
The restaurant boasts a convenient location and offers a wide variety of drinks and an exciting atmosphere. However, the pool table room was uncomfortably hot. Although there weren't many patrons during my visit, it seems that the temperature control could use some improvement. Prices are moderate to high, and the crowd size tends to vary depending on the day you visit.
