The Greyhound - Overton

Although we've been living in Overton since March 2019 yesterday was the first time we went to the Greyhound. We had dinner, and it was exquisite. Flavoursome English pea sparragus creamy risotto with parmesan. I enjoyed and tasted all ingredients. My husband had fish chips. He loved everything on the plate. So unusual for him. The beef dripping chips, the fish, tartare sauce with capers and peas with mint. Also, he loved the starter black pudding roll. On top of that, there was a very friendly atmosphere, with familiar faces. Fully recommend this place. Thanks for making Overton restaurants and pubs even more interesting that they're.

Sunday roast, yummy! Home cooked like your Grandma would make it really tasty. Highly recommend, and good value for money. The Greyhound has become my new favourite in Overton over the last few months!

Popped in for a quick drink with the kids when passing. Great childrens play area, nice and secure. Staff and locals were lovely. Very reasonable prices, will definitely be stopping again soon. Thank you!
