Sidreria Pichote - Oviedo

Thus was supposed to be a lively place instead it turned out to be a not very enticing bar. We decided to eat elsewhere.

A great restaurant! Excellent cachopo, very good ambient and a lovely service.

A must try if you are in Oviedo. A little way out of the centre but a short ride away by taxi. Our waiter was hugely entertaining. My Spanish is very limited as well was his English but we had a laugh. He clearly enjoys his job! The portions are huge! We struggled to finish our Cachopo which was shared between the two of us. Make sure you read up on cider drinking etiquette before you try!

Try cachopo de cecina, 2017 and 2018. Simply delicious!

The truth is that nothing else came gave us the letter and they didn't tell us that there was a menu of the day. If we knew, we would have asked.
