Hand Jive - Owego

Hand Jive is truly and exceptionally good. Although it's newer to the Owego restaurant scene, it's comfort food at its absolute best! I got the France hand pie and it is one of the better foods I've had in a long time. Give this place a shot for a great meal!

Really great food and great quantity and price. Super fresh, such a gem of a place. We got the French and Puerto Ricans and plan to go back weekly to try the rest. So happy this place opened in Owego. Hope they expand to Vestal soon too!

Delicious handpies, tastes fresh and yummy. We had the French and the Jamaican. The French was gone before I could get a pic. Quickly heated and ready. Very clean space. Highly recommend.

The food here is incredible. We drive back and forth from New York City to Buffalo a few times a year, this is the best lunch stop yet. The hand pies are varied and each prepared perfectly. Servings are generous. You can sit on the patio over the river too.

I am so glad that I finally discovered this place! I got the Greek spanokopita which was a flaky phyllo dough filled with Spinach and feta cheese. The owner was very polite, and she made my food to order. It was so fresh and delicious! It filled me up for $7. There were various handheld street foods from around the globe. I saw that she made smoothies and she also had a grilled cheese special. I was able to eat my meal by the beautiful Susquehanna River overlooking the Owego Bridge. I cannot wait to go back and try other items. I appreciate that the meal was packaged in a cardboard to-go container, and no utensils were necessary (making this an eco-conscious meal).
