Still recommend stopping by and supporting local. I had the veg option with the carrot relish and really liked it. My mum had the chicken and goat cheese option.
Stopped in for lunch special sandwich and got a pastry and coffee, it was $21, sandwich comes out and it's quite small, decent flavors but small, the pastry tasted like it came from frozen, the coffee was kind of bitter. All in all definitely not bad, other than the coffee, the sandwich and pastry tasted pretty good, just not really somewhere I'd return for a quick work lunch, not a lot of bang for your buck, was still pretty hungry afterwards
We stopped in for lunch today. This bakery was recommended by some locals. My wife had the Roast chicken Goat cheese and I had the Roast beef Havarti cheese. Very delicious however there was hardly any meat on my roast beef. My sandwich only had one slice of beef. Portion sizes were small. On a side note this was our first time in Owen Sound and we were not impressed. First off it smelled really bad. The girls at the bakery said it was a fall fair and it was the manure. Sorry Owen Sound but there were alot of crack heads walking around downtown.
My photo is a little outdated, but I was just as amazed by the selection of the goodies that I snapped a picture in time, but forget to post! I love eating here for lunch, but the desserts are the force on the... good.
Great people, great food, great location. We had delicious roast beef sandwiches and the sweet treats are delicious!
