Service was a little slow and parking is rather limited. The coffee was really bitter though and so I ordered a tea to take out and that was poor too! The food was really good though and the selection of cakes was great

The European Bakery Café has not existed at the East Court Plaza location on 16th Street for quite some time. The Main European Bakery Café location is at 806 16th Street while the secondary Café location is currently in the Medical Centre Building at 1415 First Avenue West. Note: The review rating is actually for the Main restaurant and bakery location.

Had the all day breakfast. . . no coffe refill (or the waitress just didn't offer,) had to pay extra for home fries. Toast was good, fresh bread. A typical all day breakfast.

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the European Bakery Cafe. The Eggs Benedict were just right with slightly runny eggs on freshly baked sunflower seed rye. The English breakfast was also very tasty, as were the home fries. Super-friendly service. The European Bakery is a bit out of the way, but a great place for breakfast/brunch. Well worth a visit.

If you want a good, homemade lunch that is not too expensive, try the European Bakery. Have not tried their baked goods, but they look delicious.
