Tein Bo Restaurant - Owen Sound

Really poor foodThe buffet was pretty sparseAbout half the dishes were empty or just had dried out leftovers in them.

Tein Bo is not at the same level of quality that it used to be, but the buffet is a solid deal. The Chicken Balls and homemade plum sauce are worth the price alone :)

Food was cold and greasy, was not impressed, friends have raved. I have food allergies and the server was not able to help, did not offer to go ask either.

They're very slow in restocking the buffet table many times we have finished lunch before anything fresh comes out food qualities. Okay services okay at the restaurant to do some freshening up some fresh paint, new carpet, specially the washrooms etc. etc.

My wife and I tried this all-day buffet restaurant for the first time, expecting greasy Chinese food, but the quality of the food was reasonable. The wonton soup was particularly good. As it was rather late in the evening, some food was stale, but they cooked fresh food. I would not call food excellent, but the buffet fills one up with disert for a very low budget. The owner family is Taiwanese, so the cooking style is different and not too greasy. I would rate this place slightly better than average.
