Mandarin House Buffet

Their idea of a Buffay is a joke!!! The Buffay is nothing but empty pans. I've been sitting here in 30 minutes. They don't bother to tell you that as you come in the door. And they are not busy at all !! Five customers !!!!! I will not be back!!!! 1/6/22 at 2:00 pm

The food was great, but I stopped eating from the buffet after only one plate when I noticed two people serving themselves WITHOUT wearing gloves the restaurant had provided, and staff didn't intervene. Masks were required to be worn for entry, as well as to and from the food/table, and the temperature of every person was recorded at the door. Staff had placed a bag of restaurant serving gloves (the thin, plastic kind) at every station and informed customers we all needed to wear our masks and apply new gloves every time we visited to get food. Our table happily obeyed, but at least one other table did not. For this reason, during the pandemic and the CDC health guidelines set forth not being followed here, I will not be returning. It's quite unfortunate.

I went here twice just to make sure it wasn't just a bad day. They have signs up everywhere to tell people to wear masks, but is certainly not enforced. Almost none of the customers are wearing the masks or social distancing at the buffet. When i asked if masks were required, she just said when they walk in, but they basically have the choice when walking around. The food at the buffet is not good or fresh. The seats and room are so worn down and in desperate need of an upgrade. I highly do not recommend. Go someplace else.

We drove by this restaurant on the way to Atlanta. Of course I cannot compare this Huntsville Owens Cross Roads place with metro Atlanta Chinese buffet restaurants...so I thought. The selection is not huge, but more than adequate. What I really like about this place is the heart and effort into the details. Fresh green lettuce and green onions in the middle of winter. Pre cut and nicely displayed oranges. All meats are fine, standard Chinese buffet stuff, but the veggie freshness is just so nice.

Can always get a good plate for dinner. plenty to choose from, never over run with customers. well worth the money
