Applebee's - Owensboro

The service was attentive, and the drinks were enjoyable. The food took a bit longer to arrive, but overall, we had a great experience.

I want to start by praising our male server, who was outstanding. Unfortunately, I can’t recall his name, but the manager was also exceptional. There were three of us in our party, and while we received our orders, two of us discovered hair in our food, and our third companion found a piece of glass in theirs. The manager sincerely apologized multiple times and not only replaced our meals but also took care of our bill. The downside was that the prices have increased, making the meals quite expensive. On a positive note, the food quality was very good, and everything was served nice and hot. Despite the frightening incident, I want to extend my thanks to the server and manager for their excellent customer service.

The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. Our server didn’t even offer to refill our drinks and seemed to be waiting for us to leave. Since it was clear we weren't going to get any drink refills, we decided to get takeout boxes and head out. This was my second chance giving this place a try, but I won’t be coming back. If you can’t enjoy your dining experience, what’s the point? I’d rather spend my money elsewhere.

I met two friends who had arrived about 10 minutes before me. The server was sitting at a table two down from us, but I waited 10 minutes for her to take my drink order. The food tastes like something you'd deep fry out of your home freezer.

The chicken wonton tacos were very spicy. They are not spicy at other locations. It's very frustrating when the quality or recipe is not the same across all locations.
