Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Owensboro

I'll start with the positives: they have later hours than other Dairy Queens (sometimes). However, the reasons for my one-star review are numerous. They barely mix their Blizzards, so the candy is mostly at the top half. On many nights, they either close early or claim that their ice cream machine is down, leaving them without ice cream. Additionally, when you order a medium, you actually get a small, as they don't fill it up properly. I'll share a picture of that next time. Given the high prices, this experience is simply unacceptable.

I visited the drive-thru at this restaurant, and when I placed my order, they asked me to pull forward so they could bring my food out to me. I totally understand; I work in fast food too, so it wasn't a problem. However, when the manager delivered my food, she had a very unfriendly expression and practically threw the bag in my lap. As a manager myself, I believe there's no excuse for venting your frustrations on customers. After all, they are the ones who keep the business going.

Aside from forgetting the shake I ordered with my meal, everything was great as always. I absolutely love their soft serve ice cream, and their Blizzards are amazing! I visited again yesterday, and aside from one staff member who didn't know where the online orders were, everything was excellent. I also recommend downloading their app for some fantastic coupons. Once again, their Blizzards are the best!

I had the worst service ever at this restaurant. I ordered a chocolate-dipped ice, and it was a complete mess. The girl behind the counter just tossed a napkin at me and said, "Here you go." I wanted to say that I didn’t drop anything; it was this awful ice that she handed to me. I really wish I had taken a picture because it was unbelievable. I won't be coming back!

Extremely disappointing service! It seems they only care about their drive-thru customers. I used to love this place for years, but I won’t be returning. I experienced the same issue at all their locations in Owensboro, KY.
